Along with saffron, cardamom and fennel pollen, vanilla is one of the most exclusive spices in the world. Vanilla is extracted from a specific orchid in a process that takes weeks. Although the prices have been going through the roof for years because there is hardly any good vanilla available, we strive to offer very good quality at an affordable price.
Tahitian vanilla is also known as the “Queen of Vanilla”. Try it once and you know why. Highest quality, the finest aroma, the star in the gourmet kitchen (star kitchen). Its aroma is unique: flowery, noble, fresh, intense. The pods are aromatic and contain more pulp and aroma than conventional goods and are therefore more productive.
Goes well with: desserts, fish, chicken, root vegetables (especially parsnips, carrots / carrots and parsley roots) and asparagus.
Can be combined well with: chilli, coffee, cocoa, cardamom, pepper, liquorice, tonka bean and cinnamon.
A pod is about 13 to 15 cm long and weighs about 5 grams, packed in a flat-bottomed glass.
