Juniper seasoning oil
Elegant-woody, finely resinous and sweetish-tart seasoning oil from Macedonian juniper berries. A few drops are enough.
For sauerkraut, sour roasts, sausages, game dishes, cured and smoked specialties (bacon, ham). For seasoning marinades (for veal, beef, pork, game), for pickling fish, for refining dishes with offal and for game poultry.
Can be combined well with: fennel, cloves, garlic, bay leaf, marjoram, allspice, pepper, rosemary, licorice and thyme.
Tips: Use sparingly. Try juniper with tomatoes or mushrooms.
The bitter and tannins of juniper have a positive effect on the stomach and intestines.
